About the Role

As Director, Major Gifts at Jewish Social Service Agency, you will own the strategy and day-to-day direction of the Agency's major and mid-level gifts fundraising efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee the Agency's major and mid-level gifts fundraising program.

• Build and steward meaningful, long-term relationships with current and prospective supporters.
• Secure a reliable foundation of financial support that advances the Agency's programs and services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading major and mid-level gifts or comparable development programs.
• Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and solicit donors and close significant gifts.
• Strategic planning skills paired with the initiative to design and implement fundraising programs.
• Strong relationship-building and communication abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site full-time in Rockville, Montgomery County.
