About the Role

As an RN Telemetry Acute Cardiac nurse at HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital, you'll play a vital role in our cardiac care unit, delivering comprehensive nursing services to patients with acute cardiac conditions. You'll work within an interdisciplinary team committed to exceptional patient outcomes and nurse satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Monitor cardiac patients continuously using telemetry systems and assess vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and clinical status
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and symptom management
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation and electronic health records
• Respond promptly to patient needs and clinical changes, escalating concerns appropriately

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Active CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills in acute care settings
• Ability to prioritize multiple patient needs in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
