About the Role

The Head and Neck OR Clinical Nurse Coordinator serves as the clinical leader for all surgical procedures within our head and neck program. You'll ensure seamless coordination of care from pre-operative preparation through post-operative follow-up, working closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and the entire surgical team. Your expertise will directly influence the quality and safety of each patient experience in our operating room environment.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate preparation, scheduling, and execution of head and neck surgical procedures
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource, guiding the surgical team on protocols and best practices
• Monitor patient care throughout the perioperative period and communicate updates to the care team
• Manage surgical instrumentation, supplies, and operating room readiness before each procedure
• Collaborate with surgical physicians and department leadership on quality and safety initiatives
• Document clinical outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical nursing experience, preferably in head and neck or general surgery
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procedures and clinical priorities efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, techniques, and perioperative care protocols
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based nursing practice
