What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure safe, quality patient care and efficient unit operations
• Manage patient flow, admissions, and discharge processes while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards
• Develop and maintain nursing schedules, addressing staffing needs while supporting work-life balance
• Mentor and support nursing team members through coaching, feedback, and professional development
• Respond to patient and staff concerns with compassion and follow established protocols for incident reporting
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to implement best practices in clinical care, including the hospital's advanced sepsis detection and surgical recovery programs
• Monitor and communicate quality metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement across the unit

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing for the State of Texas
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient safety protocols, and nursing best practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred
