Field Interviewer – Part Time

RTI International is hiring a part-time Field Interviewer in Edison, Middlesex County to conduct face-to-face interviews for the National Survey of Family Growth. Role Overview

As a part-time Field Interviewer with RTI International, you'll conduct survey interviews across your assigned territory in Edison and surrounding areas. You'll work on a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle, traveling to residential locations to gather data for one of the nation's most significant health and family research studies. The position offers hourly pay starting at $25 per hour based on experience and location, plus reimbursement for travel time and mileage. Responsibilities

• Travel to selected residential addresses to meet with and interview qualified study participants
• Identify and document residential dwelling units according to study specifications
• Recruit and engage participants while explaining the purpose and value of the National Survey of Family Growth
• Conduct surveys with professionalism and accuracy, maintaining participant privacy and data integrity
• Track field activities, record outcomes, and submit timely reports
• Achieve productivity goals while upholding rigorous data quality standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
• Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage independent fieldwork and a flexible, self-directed schedule
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout your assigned area
• Comfort engaging with and interviewing people from diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
