About the Role

Join a Level II trauma center that's redefining emergency medicine delivery. As an ER nurse at Medical City Dallas, you'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting while collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and fellow clinicians to deliver evidence-based treatment. This full-time seasonal position offers $62 per hour and the opportunity to work with one of the nation's leading learning health systems.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment, monitoring, and care to emergency patients across all acuity levels
• Respond to acute changes in patient condition with clinical precision and quick decision-making
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to execute treatment protocols and ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Operate advanced diagnostic equipment and electronic health record systems with proficiency
• Support efficient bed management, patient throughput, and emergency department workflow
• Educate patients and families while maintaining composure in high-stress situations

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in Texas
• Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing care
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification and ability to maintain current during employment
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize multiple patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to seasonal staffing schedules
