Retail Produce & Pricing Specialist

Hyvee is hiring a Retail Produce & Pricing Specialist at our Raytown location on E 350 Highway. In this full-time role, you'll ensure fresh produce quality, maintain accurate pricing, and deliver excellent service to customers shopping at our Raytown, MO store.

Position Summary

As a Retail Produce & Pricing Specialist, you'll play a key role in maintaining our produce department's efficiency, quality, and profitability. Working full-time in a dynamic retail grocery environment, you'll manage inventory, pricing systems, and customer interactions while upholding food safety standards. This position combines hands-on produce handling with pricing accuracy and department operations to create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Receive, inspect, and properly store fresh produce while rotating stock to maintain peak quality
• Update pricing labels and ensure accurate prices are reflected in point-of-sale systems throughout the department
• Create appealing produce displays that highlight available items and drive customer purchases
• Answer customer questions about produce selection, freshness, sourcing, and pricing
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to department management
• Maintain food safety compliance, sanitation standards, and department cleanliness
• Support opening and closing procedures, processing, and general department operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Retail, grocery, or food service experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with pricing and inventory systems
• Ability to stand for extended shifts and regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and pricing calculations
