Respiratory Therapist

About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist with us, you'll deliver comprehensive respiratory care services to patients recovering from acute and chronic respiratory conditions. This part-time position offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes in a rehabilitation setting. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to develop and execute individualized treatment plans focused on restoring respiratory function and quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Assess patient respiratory status through clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing
• Administer and manage oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory interventions
• Operate and maintain ventilators and other respiratory equipment
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as clinically indicated
• Document findings and communicate progress with the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards

What We're Looking For

• Current Respiratory Therapist license or certification (RRT or RPFT preferred)
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Knowledge of respiratory physiology, pharmacology, and equipment operation
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
