Physical Therapist

Ascension St. John Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health - Owasso, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our patient care team in Pawhuska, Osage County. This full-time role offers the opportunity to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services in a dedicated clinical environment where your expertise directly impacts patient recovery and independence.

About the Role

You'll provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients recovering from acute illness, injury, or surgical procedures. Working within our rehabilitation hospital, you'll help patients rebuild strength, restore function, and return to meaningful activities. We welcome walk-in interviews every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. if you'd like to visit and learn about this opportunity in person—no appointment required.

What You'll Do

• Perform thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapeutic care using exercise, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities
• Track and document patient progress toward functional and clinical goals
• Educate patients and families on safe techniques, self-management, and home-based programs
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Oklahoma
• Clinical expertise in patient assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation
• Strong patient communication and teaching abilities
• Collaborative approach to working within interdisciplinary care teams
• Commitment to high-quality patient outcomes and evidence-based practice
• Professional compassion and attention to clinical detail
