Residential Security Team (RST) Operator

Prevail is seeking a Residential Security Team (RST) Operator to join our security operations in London, England, United Kingdom. This is a contract position based on-site, protecting residential properties and communities through vigilant monitoring and rapid response protocols.

Role Overview

As an RST Operator, you will serve as a critical frontline defender for residential security operations. Your role combines proactive surveillance, incident response coordination, and community confidence building to ensure the safety and security of residents and their properties. Working within Prevail's security framework, you'll monitor systems, respond to alerts, and maintain professional standards that uphold our reputation for excellence in residential protection.

What You'll Do

• Monitor residential premises using CCTV systems, alarms, and access control technologies
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including unauthorised access attempts and alarm activations
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and document observations in security logs
• Liaise with residents, emergency services, and management teams during incidents
• Maintain detailed incident reports and complete post-event assessments
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and security procedures
• Provide professional customer service to residents and visitors

Requirements

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence or willingness to obtain one
• Demonstrable experience in residential or facilities security operations
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities under pressure
• Familiarity with CCTV, alarm systems, and access control platforms
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to duty
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
