About This Position

This is a full-time role that sits at the intersection of threat assessment, risk management, and operational security. As a Protective Security Analyst with Prevail in London, you'll combine analytical rigour with practical security expertise to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate emerging threats, and recommend protective measures that matter. Over the next 12 months, you'll become a trusted member of our security team, working alongside experienced professionals to safeguard our people, assets, and operations.

What You'll Do

• Conduct threat assessments and security risk evaluations across multiple operational environments
• Analyse security incidents, near-misses, and vulnerabilities to identify patterns and root causes
• Develop and implement security protocols tailored to specific roles, locations, or sensitive activities
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, site security teams, and external partners to gather intelligence and refine protective strategies
• Maintain detailed documentation of security assessments, recommendations, and audit trails to support compliance with relevant standards
• Review access control systems, perimeter security, and procedural safeguards to ensure effectiveness
• Support the wider security team in delivering training, security briefings, and awareness initiatives

Qualifications

• Proven experience in protective security, security analysis, or a closely related security discipline
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly
• Knowledge of UK security standards, compliance frameworks, and best practices in protective security
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in threat assessment and documentation
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing security priorities
• Professional maturity and discretion when handling sensitive information
