Maximus is hiring a Remote Committee Support Specialist (Junior) on a Bid Role basis, located in Uptown, Marion County. This full-time position supports critical operations within the national organ transplant system, contributing directly to policies that ensure fair, medical-need-based organ allocation across the United States.

About the Role

The Committee Support Specialist provides essential administrative and logistical support to the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN). You'll work within ongoing modernization efforts that are reshaping how organ transplant policies are developed and implemented — work with real, meaningful impact on patient access and healthcare outcomes nationwide.

What You'll Do

• Schedule committee meetings, coordinate agendas, and manage logistics with stakeholders nationwide
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, policy briefs, and committee documentation
• Research transplant policy topics and compile background materials for committee review
• Maintain committee records, databases, and governance documentation systems
• Facilitate communication between committee members, HRSA officials, and OPTN leadership
• Support policy development, review, and refinement processes
• Generate reports and ensure compliance with documentation and record-keeping standards

What We're Looking For

• Associate degree or 2+ years of hands-on administrative support experience in healthcare, government, or nonprofit settings
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email platforms, and database management
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fully remote setting
• Openness to learning complex healthcare and policy systems
