About the Role
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in our busy Emergency Department. You'll work a mix of rotating shifts, including evening and night hours with rotating weekends, delivering critical assessments and emergency care when patients need it most.
What You'll Do
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and triage in high-acuity settings
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute medical and surgical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams during patient stabilization and treatment
- Monitor vital signs, interpret patient responses, and adjust care plans in real time
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters and interventions
- Provide patient and family education during emergencies and acute illness episodes
- Support a safe, efficient ED environment for colleagues and patients alike
What We're Looking For
- Current Florida RN license or recognized multistate compact RN license
- Minimum one year of recent acute care experience in medical-surgical, progressive care, intensive care, or emergency department nursing
- Ability to work variable shifts including nights and rotating weekends
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical judgment skills
- Compassion and resilience in high-pressure environments
