Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in critical care units, including continuous assessment of vital signs, hemodynamic status, and neurological function for high-acuity individuals.
• Support cath lab procedures by preparing patients, assisting physicians during catheterizations and interventions, and managing post-procedure recovery.
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies while monitoring for adverse reactions and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as ventilators, defibrillators, and cardiac monitors common to critical care and cath lab environments.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly in the electronic record to maintain continuity across the flex team.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions specific to cardiac and critical care needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and fellow nurses to coordinate care transitions within the flex team model.

What We're Looking For

• Active registered nurse licensure valid for practice in the relevant state covering 2 Locations.
• Clinical background in critical care nursing or catheterization lab settings demonstrating strong cardiac assessment skills.
• Competency in advanced life support techniques and comfort managing emergent situations in both ICU and procedural suites.
