Registered Nurse – Cardiac Care Charge Nurse

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care Charge Nurse for our cardiac care unit in Huber, Bibb County. This part-time position combines clinical expertise with leadership to deliver exceptional patient care and support our nursing team.

About the Role

You'll take on a charge nurse role in our cardiac care unit, blending hands-on nursing with leadership responsibilities. Your clinical knowledge and mentoring will help create a safe, high-performing care environment where both patients and staff thrive.

What You'll Do

• Lead unit operations and coordinate patient care assignments
• Provide direct patient care with expertise in cardiac conditions and hemodynamic monitoring
• Mentor nursing staff and serve as a clinical resource for complex patient situations
• Manage cardiac interventions including external pacemakers, chest tube care, and arrhythmia response
• Assess and respond to cardiac rhythm changes and patient status updates
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and infection prevention standards
• Champion unit safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts

What We're Looking For

• Current Georgia RN license
• Established experience in cardiac or acute care nursing
• Solid foundation in cardiac physiology, monitoring systems, and clinical interventions
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor nursing colleagues
• Experience managing arrhythmias, external pacemakers, or chest tubes preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes
