Registered Nurse – Med Surg Charge Nurse

Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Med-Surg Charge Nurse in the Macon, Georgia area. In this part-time position, you'll combine clinical expertise with charge nurse leadership, managing patient care and coordinating your nursing team on a dynamic medical-surgical unit.

About the Role

As a Med-Surg Charge Nurse, you'll take on a dual clinical and leadership role—delivering hands-on patient care while overseeing unit operations and supporting your nursing staff. You'll work directly with patients requiring medical and surgical care, ensuring safe, effective treatment and smooth team collaboration across shifts.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to nursing and support staff
• Deliver direct patient care across medical-surgical units
• Perform cardiac monitoring and EKG assessments for appropriate patients
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate clinical updates with physicians
• Support staff orientation, clinical education, and professional development
• Ensure compliance with unit protocols and patient safety standards
• Manage unit resources and maintain efficient operations

What We're Looking For

• Current Georgia RN license
• Hands-on experience in medical-surgical or acute care nursing
• Demonstrated charge nurse, team lead, or equivalent leadership background
• Proficiency in EKG monitoring and cardiac patient assessment
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication
• Experience coordinating care across clinical teams
• Dedication to evidence-based practice and patient safety
