Join Pathways Whanganui as a Registered Nurse in a full-time, permanent role based in the beautiful Whanganui region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your mental health nursing expertise to a community clinical specialist service, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs within the community setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Contribute to the ongoing evaluation of service delivery and patient outcomes
- Promote a culture of wellness and support for both patients and colleagues
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current registration with NZNO or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mental health nursing, with community-based experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
