What This Role Involves
In this role at Del Sol Medical Center, you will be responsible for delivering safe and compassionate care in a full-service acute care setting. You'll perform patient assessments, administer medications, assist with procedures, and document care in the EHR. Working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team, you’ll gain experience across multiple specialties while supporting diverse patients and families.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify health needs and concerns
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assist with various medical procedures under supervision
- Document all care activities in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses
Requirements
- New graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas or eligible for licensure
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
