RAD – Northeast (Regional Account Director)

About This Position

You'll serve as the primary field representative for Sobi's market access initiatives across your assigned Northeast region. Working directly with health plans, payers, and clinical thought leaders, you'll develop and execute strategies that optimize coverage pathways, enhance product access, and secure optimal reimbursement for our specialty pharmaceutical portfolio. In this role, you translate clinical evidence and health economics into compelling payer business cases, directly influencing coverage decisions that affect patient access to treatment.

Core Duties

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with payer executives, pharmacy benefit managers, and managed care decision-makers
• Design and execute regional market access plans aligned with corporate strategy and territory objectives
• Drive advocacy initiatives to improve product formulary placement, coverage policies, and reimbursement outcomes
• Present clinical and economic evidence to payers and key opinion leaders to support access strategies
• Coordinate across internal teams (sales, medical affairs, market research) and external stakeholders to address and resolve access barriers
• Monitor competitive market landscape and payer trends to identify opportunities and risks
• Manage regional account planning and track key performance indicators

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in market access, payer relations, managed care strategy, or pharmaceutical account leadership
• Strong relationship-building and influence skills with ability to engage senior healthcare executives
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical reimbursement, including pharmacy benefit design, prior authorization, and formulary management
• Capability to synthesize clinical trial data and health economic analyses into strategic narratives
• Experience collaborating across departments and complex organizational environments
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Northeast region
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience in healthcare or market access
