About the Role

You'll serve as the financial backbone for our project teams, managing accounting activities that directly influence how accurately we track costs, recognize revenue, and bill clients. Working alongside Project Managers, Operations, and Finance leadership, you'll ensure every electrical construction project maintains strong financial accuracy and compliance from initiation through close-out.

What You'll Do

• Oversee project-level accounting functions including cost accumulation, revenue recognition, and monthly financial performance reporting
• Prepare and validate project billing documentation, confirming that invoicing reflects actual progress and contractual terms
• Deliver timely financial analysis to Project Managers and leadership, highlighting cost status and profitability trends
• Reconcile project accounts, investigate variances, and support management decisions that protect project margins
• Maintain detailed project accounting records and ensure all documentation is audit-ready and properly organized
• Coordinate with Finance on policy compliance, revenue standards, and accurate project close procedures

What We're Looking For

• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail in financial work
• Background in construction accounting or project-based accounting environments
• Knowledge of construction revenue recognition and progress billing practices
• Comfort with accounting software systems and advanced spreadsheet capabilities
