Join Encore Electric Career Site as a Production Manager in our Aurora, Arapahoe County prefabrication facility. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee all shop operations, from assembly to final production, while managing a skilled team and driving project completion on schedule and within specifications.
About the Role
As Production Manager, you'll take ownership of prefabrication shop operations and lead a dedicated team of assemblers, apprentices, and shop foremen. Working within the Prefabrication Department, you'll report to the Prefab Manager and be accountable for executing project orders, including kit preparation, cutting, bending, and final assemblies. Your strategic oversight ensures quality output, efficient workflows, and on-time delivery of electrical components and assemblies. Compensation ranges from $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and direct all prefabrication shop personnel, including assemblers, apprentices, and foremen
- Manage accountability for full projects or project subsets, from initial order through final assembly
- Oversee kit preparation, material cutting, conduit bending, and assembly operations
- Ensure quality standards and compliance with specifications across all production activities
- Coordinate with management on production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
- Monitor team performance and foster a safe, productive work environment
What We're Looking For
- Proven production management or supervisory experience in manufacturing or electrical fabrication
- Strong knowledge of shop operations, assembly processes, and electrical component standards
