About the Role
This part-time lecturer position is an excellent opportunity for experienced nursing and health sciences professionals seeking to contribute to undergraduate and/or graduate education while maintaining flexibility in their careers. You'll deliver high-quality instruction, develop engaging course content, and support student learning in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
What You'll Do
- Teach nursing and health sciences courses at the undergraduate or graduate level, depending on assignment
- Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory instruction aligned with course learning outcomes
- Assess student learning through exams, projects, clinical evaluations, and other assessment methods
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing practice, health sciences research, and evidence-based teaching methods
- Support student success through office hours, mentoring, and academic guidance
- Collaborate with full-time faculty and health sciences programs to ensure curriculum quality and consistency
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent professional credential)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or relevant health sciences credential
- Demonstrated expertise in nursing or health sciences through professional practice or teaching experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commitment to student-centered education and evidence-based teaching practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
