Middle School and High School Soccer Coach

Grace Church School seeks a skilled and dedicated part-time coach to lead our middle school and high school soccer programs. This is an excellent opportunity to develop young athletes and contribute to our vibrant athletic community in downtown Manhattan.

About the Role

As a part-time soccer coach at Grace Church School, you'll direct training sessions, organize competitive play, and mentor athletes across our middle school and high school teams. You'll work across our two downtown Manhattan campuses to build programs that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game.

What You'll Do

• Plan and lead daily practice sessions focused on technical skill, tactical understanding, and team cohesion
• Prepare teams for competitive matches and tournaments
• Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback
• Model and reinforce athletic standards of conduct and sportsmanship
• Maintain clear communication with players, families, and the athletic department
• Foster a positive, inclusive team environment that reflects our school's values

What We're Looking For

• Proven knowledge of soccer principles, strategy, and player development
• Coaching experience or demonstrated expertise in youth athletics
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead diverse young athletes
• Commitment to developing both skilled players and strong individuals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
