About the Role
This full-time position offers aspiring law enforcement professionals the opportunity to serve and protect our community while earning your police certification. We sponsor all recruits through the Police Academy and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Criminal Justice Training Commission. Once you achieve state certification, you'll receive an additional 4.5% pay increase as a certified officer.
What You'll Do
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain community safety and deter criminal activity
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate assistance to residents
- Conduct investigations and collect evidence following law enforcement protocols
- Engage with community members to build trust and collaborative relationships
- Complete comprehensive Police Academy training with full departmental support
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to departmental policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
- At least 21 years of age (candidates may apply up to six months before turning 21)

- Strong physical fitness and ability to meet law enforcement standards
