About the Role
As Plant Manager, you'll own all aspects of daily plant operations—from production scheduling and quality assurance to workforce management and regulatory compliance. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence in a facility committed to premium halal meat products processed with humane standards and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
- Direct daily production operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and efficiency optimization
- Ensure strict compliance with USDA food safety regulations, halal processing requirements, and facility health codes
- Recruit, train, and supervise production and support staff, fostering a safe and collaborative work culture
- Monitor production costs, material waste, and quality metrics to achieve organizational targets
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational process enhancements
- Oversee equipment maintenance and support capital projects aligned with production objectives
- Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols and conduct training and incident investigations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in plant management or operations leadership, preferably in food or meat processing
- Demonstrated expertise in USDA food safety, sanitation standards, and regulatory compliance
- Proven track record leading and motivating diverse production teams
- Strong background in production scheduling, budgeting, and cost management
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred
