About the Role
As a Physical Therapist with Sanford Health, you will deliver hands-on rehabilitation care across our Skilled, Rehab, and Home Health services in Beatrice. This part-time position is scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week on a day shift, giving you the chance to make a meaningful difference for patients throughout America's heartland while maintaining a balanced schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and design individualized treatment plans suited to skilled, rehabilitation, and home health needs.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions that help patients restore mobility, strength, and independence.
- Track patient progress and adjust care plans to support the best possible recovery outcomes.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team to ensure continuity across settings.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and strategies for ongoing wellness at home.
- Keep accurate, timely documentation in line with clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain it).
- Clinical background in skilled, rehab, or home health care is valued.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.
- Ability to travel to patients' homes within the Beatrice service area as needed.
