About the Role

This is a full-time position where you'll work directly with clients in their homes, private apartment gyms, or outdoor spaces throughout the Metairie area. You'll build a roster of clients who rely on your expertise to reach their fitness goals. Unlike traditional studio roles, you'll have the autonomy to manage your own schedule, choose which clients to work with, and build your practice without the pressure of studio sales targets. Svetness handles the client matching and administrative work, so you can focus entirely on delivering exceptional training.

Your Responsibilities

• Create customized fitness programs tailored to each client's specific goals and current fitness level
• Lead one-on-one and couples fitness sessions, demonstrating proper exercise technique and form
• Provide real-time feedback and exercise modifications to maximize safety and results
• Document client progress, notes, and session details in the Svetness Fitness App
• Conduct fitness assessments and periodic reassessments to track improvement over time
• Maintain reliable, consistent attendance at scheduled client appointments
• Travel to various client locations, with typical commutes up to 45 minutes

Skills & Qualifications

• Active Personal Training Certification from an NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE-accredited organization
• Current CPR and AED Certification
• 1–3 years of hands-on personal training experience (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Foundational knowledge of nutrition and healthy lifestyle coaching
• Proficiency with various exercise techniques, training styles, and equipment
• Physical ability to safely lift, push, and pull loads up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation for traveling to client locations
• Ability to bring and manage basic training equipment as needed
