Hensley Legal Group PC is seeking a Full-Time Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our Fort Wayne practice. In this role, you'll represent clients through some of their most challenging life moments, combining legal expertise with genuine compassion to achieve meaningful client outcomes. Based in Fort Wayne, Allen County, you'll work within a firm dedicated to making a real difference for injury victims and their families.
About the Role
As a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney at Hensley Legal Group PC, you'll manage the full lifecycle of personal injury cases from intake through trial. This is a hands-on position where you'll develop deep client relationships, build compelling cases, and advocate effectively in and out of the courtroom. You'll work alongside experienced attorneys who share a commitment to client-centered representation and thorough case preparation.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive case evaluations and client intake meetings
- Perform legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
- Manage discovery, including document review and depositions
- Prepare cases for trial and represent clients at hearings and trial
- Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines
- Collaborate with experts, investigators, and medical professionals
- Provide clear, strategic counsel to clients throughout litigation
What We're Looking For
- Active Indiana bar license and good standing
- Minimum 2–5 years of personal injury litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client communication ability
- Attention to detail and strategic case thinking
- Willingness to see cases through to trial when necessary
