About the Role
As a Pastry Cook with Oak View Group, you'll be an essential part of our culinary team, preparing high-quality pastries, breads, and desserts for events and daily service at Allegiant Stadium. This is a part-time position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced venue environment while maintaining the hospitality standards that define our brand.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and bake pastries, croissants, breads, cakes, and other desserts according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate pastry equipment including ovens, mixers, and other specialized kitchen tools
- Manage pastry station inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing ingredients
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance throughout the pastry kitchen
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of pastries for events and concession service
- Monitor portion sizes and presentation to meet venue standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a pastry cook or baker in a restaurant, hotel, or venue setting
- Working knowledge of pastry techniques, baking science, and ingredient handling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger kitchen team
- Reliable, professional approach to a part-time schedule
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
