About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles on interstate routes while maintaining FMCSA compliance and company safety standards
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify mechanical condition
• Load, secure, and properly distribute cargo weight
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status and delivery confirmations
• Represent Nussbaum professionally with customers and at loading facilities

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving history
• Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass required physical examinations
• Minimum 2–3 years of OTR dry van driving experience preferred
• Strong vehicle maintenance knowledge and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent route planning and time management skills
• Professional demeanor and customer-focused communication approach
