About the Role
As an OTR Dry Van Company Driver with Nussbaum, you'll operate a commercial dry van truck across regional and long-haul routes, delivering freight safely and on time. This is a full-time position that values reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to industry standards.
What You'll Do
- Operate company dry van equipment across designated routes, maintaining safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance checks
- Manage delivery schedules, communicate with dispatch, and coordinate with customers
- Maintain accurate logbooks and shipping documentation
- Demonstrate commitment to safety, professionalism, and representing Nussbaum's reputation on the road
What We're Looking For
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proven OTR or long-haul driving experience
- Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliability, attention to detail, and safety-first mindset
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying schedules
Compensation and Benefits
Nussbaum Transportation offers competitive pay ranging from $76,000 to $92,000 in your first year, based on experience and qualifications. New drivers receive a $3,000 Dry Van Transition Bonus paid in increments: $1,000 upon successful completion of orientation, $1,000 at three months, and $1,000 at six months. We also provide a competitive benefits package to support your career and well-being.
