About the Role
The Demand Operations & Service Quality team drives adoption, retention, and performance across our markets. You'll provide analytical and operational support to leadership and market managers, helping them understand priorities and improve outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Demand Operations & Service Quality, you'll translate complex data into clear insights that drive operational efficiency and rider satisfaction. This full-time San Francisco, CA position offers an expected salary of $130,000–$160,000 USD, with offers reflecting experience and qualifications.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and maintain analytical reporting that monitors market health, identifies issues, and surfaces growth opportunities
- Investigate performance questions and escalated metrics, developing data-backed recommendations that drive measurable improvements
- Build self-service dashboards and reporting tools enabling market managers to explore data independently
- Lead analytical training initiatives to strengthen data literacy across the operations management team
- Communicate complex findings and strategic recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners
- Partner with Product Data Science, Product Management, and other teams to align on market opportunities
Who We're Looking For
- 5–10 years in analytical, data operations, or business intelligence roles with a drive to see analysis become action
- Expert proficiency with SQL and spreadsheet tools (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and visualization
- Strong ability to present findings to senior leaders, translate insights for operations audiences, and influence stakeholders
- A bridge-builder connecting data science to operational reality, ensuring analysis drives sustainable improvements
- Intellectual curiosity and persistence in investigating questions until you find real causes and solutions
- Comfort bringing structure to messy data problems and building analytical frameworks from scratch
- A multiplier who grows team capabilities through mentoring and helping others adopt modern analytics tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Preferred: high-growth tech or mobility company experience, advanced SQL skills, Python or R familiarity, proven track record of data-driven operational improvements, or autonomous vehicle and mobility technology background
Travel: Candidates should be willing and able to travel up to 10% to visit and support local market operations.
