What You'll Do
- Build and sustain positive relationships with guests through consistent presence, active listening, and respectful engagement
- Monitor the facility grounds and buildings, conducting regular security rounds and documenting any safety concerns or irregularities
- Operate and maintain security systems, alerting staff to any malfunctions or suspicious activity
- Collaborate with case managers and contracted security partners to coordinate safety protocols and incident response
- Apply verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to prevent and manage conflicts and emergency situations
- Prepare written reports and documentation on security matters, safety observations, and guest interactions for program supervisors

- Strong interpersonal skills and composure during conflict
- Capacity to juggle multiple responsibilities and changing priorities
- Knowledge of and commitment to HIPAA confidentiality standards
Preferred Experience
- One or more years working with vulnerable populations, in security roles, or with formal de-escalation or crisis intervention training
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- U.S. employment authorization
- Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle
- Proof of auto insurance and vehicle ownership
- Ability to qualify for PATH's vehicle insurance coverage
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before hire
- Successful completion of tuberculosis screening, background check, and drug screening
- All education and experience levels welcome—no minimum experience required

Compensation and Benefits
