As a CHHA on our team, you'll become an integral part of clients' daily lives, providing both essential care services and meaningful human connection.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Monitor and report on client health status and changes to supervising nurses
- Maintain clean, safe home environments for clients
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community activities (drivers with vehicles preferred)
- Support clients' emotional well-being through compassionate, respectful interaction
What We're Looking For
- Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (highly preferred)
- Proven experience in home care or similar caregiving roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans precisely
- Compassion, patience, and genuine interest in client welfare
- Reliability and punctuality
- Comfort working flexible schedules including weekends and overnight shifts
