The New Graduate Nurse Residency at HCA healthcare provides first-year nurses with a supported pathway into professional practice. What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care under preceptor guidance, developing nursing fundamentals and technical competency
- Build critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills through real-world patient scenarios
- Participate in educational sessions and competency evaluations throughout the residency year
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes
- Progress from supervised practice to independent nursing responsibilities at a measured pace
- Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
