HCA Healthcare is welcoming a New Graduate Registered Nurse to its Healthcare & Medical Services team in Pinecraft, Sarasota County. This full-time, on-site position is designed for recently licensed nurses ready to translate classroom learning into real bedside practice. Through a guided nurse residency program and the steady support of seasoned preceptors, you will build the clinical judgment and confidence needed for a lasting nursing career while delivering warm, patient-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough patient assessments and track changes in each patient's condition throughout your shift.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
- Observe and respond to shifts in patient status, escalating concerns to the care team as needed.
- Record care, observations, and interventions accurately within the electronic health record (EHR).
- Partner with physicians, fellow nurses, and the wider interdisciplinary team to coordinate compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Apply guidance from your preceptors and residency program to strengthen your clinical skills over time.
Qualifications
- Newly graduated from an accredited nursing program and eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Current or pending Registered Nurse licensure as required for the role.
