AbbVie is seeking a full-time Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our Oncology division in Saint Andrews, Charleston County. In this role, you'll be the strategic medical voice connecting our innovative multiple myeloma therapies with healthcare providers across the Southeast, combining deep scientific expertise with relationship-building to advance patient care.

About the Role

As an MSL, you'll serve as AbbVie's trusted medical expert within your assigned territory, providing healthcare providers with evidence-based information about our oncology portfolio. This is a full-time position focused on multiple myeloma and related hematologic malignancies, requiring strong relationships with oncologists, hematologists, and care teams to support informed treatment decisions and clinical excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver accurate, evidence-based medical information about AbbVie's multiple myeloma therapies and mechanisms of action
  • Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with oncologists and healthcare providers to address clinical questions and discuss trial data
  • Educate medical staff on treatment protocols, patient eligibility criteria, and supportive care strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and market insights to inform strategic planning
  • Support clinical research initiatives, registries, and educational programs within your territory
  • Represent AbbVie at medical conferences, symposia, and professional meetings
  • Partner collaboratively with sales and cross-functional teams while maintaining medical and ethical integrity

What We're Looking For

  • Doctorate in a healthcare or scientific discipline (PhD, MD, DO, PharmD, or equivalent)
  • Experience in medical science liaison, clinical advisory, or similar healthcare professional roles
  • Strong knowledge of oncology, hematology, or related therapeutic areas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate complex science for diverse audiences
  • Proven relationship-building and interpersonal capabilities
  • Self-directed, organized, and skilled at managing multiple priorities
  • Based in or willing to relocate to serve the Southeast region and Saint Andrews territory
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
