About the Role

As a Mortgage Inspector with NOFS, you'll perform comprehensive inspections of residential properties to verify occupancy status and document property conditions. This full-time position offers the independence that experienced inspectors seek, with field-based work throughout the Athens County area.

What You'll Do

• Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties following lending standards and client specifications
• Verify occupancy status through on-site observation and documentation
• Photograph properties and capture relevant details during each inspection
• Prepare accurate, comprehensive inspection reports with findings and observations
• Manage your schedule and efficiently route inspections across the service territory
• Maintain detailed records and communicate findings to clients in a timely manner
• Work independently in the field without direct supervision

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience conducting mortgage or residential property inspections
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document property conditions
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to manage multiple inspections and meet scheduling commitments
• Professional demeanor and solid customer service skills
• Experience with inspection software or digital reporting systems preferred
