Director – eCommerce & Digital Marketing

Brookshire Grocery Company, one of the largest privately-held grocery retailers in the United States, is seeking a Director of eCommerce and Digital Marketing to lead digital transformation initiatives at our headquarters in Tyler, Texas. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape how a regional grocery powerhouse serves customers across four states in an increasingly digital marketplace.

About the Role

As Director of eCommerce and Digital Marketing, you'll own the strategic vision and execution of our online sales channels and digital marketing programs across all five of our grocery banners. This is a leadership role where your decisions drive customer engagement, revenue growth, and competitive positioning in the rapidly evolving grocery ecommerce landscape. You'll manage cross-functional teams, oversee digital budgets, and report to senior leadership on performance metrics and strategic outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce strategies that drive online sales and customer acquisition across banners
• Lead and mentor teams focused on digital marketing, online merchandising, and customer experience optimization
• Oversee the full ecommerce platform, from product listings and pricing to checkout experience and fulfillment integration
• Manage digital marketing campaigns including paid search, social media, email, and content initiatives
• Establish KPIs, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement across all digital channels
• Collaborate with merchandising, operations, IT, and customer service to create seamless omnichannel experiences
• Identify emerging technologies and market trends to maintain competitive advantage
• Manage departmental budgets and demonstrate ROI on digital investments

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or related leadership roles
• Proven track record growing online sales and customer engagement in retail or grocery environments
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
• Experience managing teams, budgets, and complex cross-functional projects
• Deep knowledge of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics systems
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or related field
• Excellent communication and executive presence
