YouFit is hiring a part-time Member Service Specialist (MSS) at its North Port, Sarasota County location — a front-facing role at the heart of a fitness community that puts members first.

About the Role

As a Member Service Specialist at YouFit North Port, you serve as the face of the club. Every interaction you have — from a warm greeting at the door to walking a prospect through membership options — shapes how members feel about their fitness journey. This is a part-time, in-club position where your energy, attentiveness, and people skills make a direct impact every shift.

What You'll Do

• Welcome every member and guest with a positive, professional attitude and create a consistently inviting front-desk experience
• Manage member check-ins accurately and efficiently, keeping the flow of the club moving smoothly
• Handle membership enrollments, upgrades, and account transactions with attention to detail
• Answer questions about membership plans, club amenities, and YouFit policies in a knowledgeable, helpful manner
• Guide prospective members through the club, highlighting services and value
• Address member concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when appropriate
• Keep the front desk area organized, clean, and presentable at all times
• Collaborate with teammates and club staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment

What We're Looking For

• Genuine enthusiasm for customer service and helping people — in person, every day
• Clear, confident communication skills and a friendly, approachable presence
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods at the front desk
• Basic proficiency with computers and point-of-sale or membership software (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Dependability, punctuality, and a strong team-first mindset
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, though not required
• An interest in health and fitness aligns well with our culture
