Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct original, rigorous research on technology governance within the Ostrom Workshop's interdisciplinary tradition.
  • Apply established frameworks and methodologies to questions of policy, institutions, and collective decision-making.
  • Collaborate with a diverse community of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers at Indiana University and beyond.
  • Disseminate findings through publications, presentations, and scholarly engagement.
  • Support the broader research mission of the Workshop in Bloomington, Monroe County.

Qualifications

  • A completed doctorate (or one nearing completion) in a field relevant to technology governance, public policy, political science, law, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated capacity for independent, interdisciplinary research.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suited to collaboration across academic and policy audiences.
  • Interest in the governance of technology and the institutional questions it raises.
