Exceptional Healthcare Inc. is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician (PRN/Nights) in Eloy, Pinal County to support diagnostic testing at our newly opening Eloy Micro Hospital. If you thrive on overnight precision and want to help build a brand-new lab from day one, this on-site role is for you.
About the Role
As a Medical Laboratory Technician on our overnight (PRN) team, you will perform and analyze clinical laboratory tests that guide patient diagnosis and treatment. This position is based on-site in Eloy, Pinal County, and is part of the founding diagnostic team at Exceptional Healthcare's new facility, with the Eloy Micro Hospital grand opening planned for September 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and specialized laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, and related disciplines during night shifts.
- Process, label, and prepare specimens while maintaining strict chain-of-custody and quality standards.
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure accurate, timely results.
- Document findings accurately and report critical values promptly to the care team.
- Follow safety, infection-control, and regulatory protocols at all times.
- Help establish workflows and best practices as part of a newly launched lab.
Qualifications
- Training and credentials appropriate for a Medical Laboratory Technician role.
- Hands-on familiarity with clinical lab equipment and standard testing procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently during overnight (PRN/night) shifts.
- Availability to work on-site in Eloy, Pinal County.
- A commitment to accuracy, patient safety, and dependable teamwork.
