Materials Planner II

Role Overview

As Materials Planner II, you'll be the architect behind efficient material flows, balancing demand forecasts with inventory optimization while maintaining strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You'll work within a team dedicated to supporting production schedules and ensuring that materials are available exactly when needed to meet operational goals.

Core Duties

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on production schedules and historical data
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess stock while preventing shortages
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely material availability
• Generate reports and analysis to track planning performance and identify process improvements
• Support production planning activities by responding to schedule changes and supply chain disruptions
• Ensure all planning activities comply with GMP standards and company safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• Experience in materials planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work first shift, in an office-based environment at our Madison location
• Proficiency with planning tools and systems
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain fundamentals
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
