This is a full-time role within our Legal Talent team, focused on building and executing transformative training programs that accelerate the professional growth of associates across our Banking & Credit practice.
About the Role
As the Manager, Strategic Training Initiatives - Banking & Credit, you'll drive the design, development, and delivery of training initiatives that strengthen the capabilities of our legal team. Working closely with practice leadership and human resources, you'll identify skill gaps, create targeted development programs, and measure the impact of learning investments. This position bridges legal practice excellence with talent development strategy, requiring both operational rigor and deep understanding of banking and credit law practice realities.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver comprehensive training curricula tailored to associate development levels within the Banking & Credit practice
- Partner with practice partners to understand emerging training needs and strategic development priorities
- Develop training content spanning technical banking and credit knowledge, client relationship skills, and business development capabilities
- Manage discrete projects and topical initiatives that support practice-wide strategic objectives
- Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and professional development metrics
- Collaborate with the Legal Talent team to integrate training into broader associate development pathways
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in legal training, organizational development, or related talent management roles
- Familiarity with banking, credit, or financial services practices, or strong ability to quickly master technical subject matter
- Proven capability designing and delivering engaging, outcomes-focused training programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior audiences
- Project management expertise and attention to operational detail
- Self-directed approach with ability to work independently and across functional teams
