Universal Technical Institute is hiring a Manager Financial Aid for our Hillwood, Houston campus. This is a full-time leadership role serving as the campus expert in financial aid administration and default management, where you'll champion students' financial success while building collaborative relationships across our institution and the broader financial aid ecosystem.

About the Role

As our Financial Aid Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of financial aid operations and default management for the campus. You'll serve as the go-to expert for students, staff, lending institutions, guarantee agencies, and regulatory bodies—bringing deep knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs, compliance requirements, and best practices in student financial management. This leadership position demands both meticulous attention to detail and the interpersonal skills to guide students through complex financial decisions.

What You'll Do

• Manage default prevention and resolution, coordinating with lending institutions and guarantee agencies to minimize student loan defaults
• Oversee campus financial aid operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in aid packaging, disbursement, and student communications
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with lending institutions, guarantee agencies, and regulatory agencies
• Lead and mentor your financial aid team, fostering a culture of excellence and student-centered service
• Ensure compliance with federal and state financial aid regulations and institutional policies
• Serve as the primary liaison between the campus, lenders, guarantee agencies, and regulatory bodies
