Join Checkr as a Strategic Account Executive to lead new business development for Truework's verification solutions. This is a full-time remote position available to candidates throughout the United States, with office flexibility and presence in San Francisco, California.

About the Role

Truework, Checkr's recently acquired verification division, is transforming how lenders access employment, income, and asset information for mortgages, apartment applications, background checks, and beyond. The lending industry continues to rely on legacy manual processes while forward-thinking institutions demand faster, more accurate automated verification. As a Strategic Account Executive, you'll lead the conversion of major national and regional lenders to Truework's modern platform, capturing significant market share in an industry valued over $5 billion. You'll operate within a startup-like team embedded in Checkr—combining entrepreneurial velocity with enterprise-scale resources, customer relationships, and technology infrastructure. Your success directly drives new customer acquisition and business growth while reshaping how millions of people experience the verification process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop territory strategies and execute full-cycle sales campaigns to acquire new lending customers, generate qualified pipeline, and consistently achieve revenue targets through modern sales techniques
  • Map Truework capabilities to specific lending operations, identifying multiple use cases where automated verification delivers measurable ROI and operational improvements
  • Build relationships across lending organizations—engaging C-level executives, operational decision makers, and end-users within parallel buying processes to facilitate consensus and close deals
  • Execute targeted go-to-market activities with marketing and partnership teams to build market awareness, expand territory coverage, and populate your sales pipeline
  • Analyze competitive landscapes, industry trends, customer strategic plans, and public market signals to inform account strategy and develop compelling executive presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams on deal structuring, customer implementation, and account growth initiatives to ensure commitments are met and identify expansion opportunities
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to leadership and product teams, directly influencing Truework's roadmap and strategic direction

Who We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of full-cycle enterprise sales experience, with proven success closing transformative technology solutions to large, complex organizations
  • Demonstrated expertise engaging executive buyers and technical influencers simultaneously, closing pursuit values from $1 million to $10 million and beyond
  • Ability to navigate multi-threaded decision-making and organizational politics within large enterprises, building champions across departments and winning support at multiple levels
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard sales methodologies including MEDDPICC, Challenger, Force Management, Power Selling, or comparable frameworks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—translating technical complexity into business value, presenting executive-level business cases, and engaging diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail combined with intellectual curiosity, self-direction, and commitment to continuous learning
  • Capacity to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and priorities without losing momentum in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Growth mindset, resilience, and action orientation; you raise the bar, move with urgency, maintain composure through ambiguity, and deliver results with ownership mentality
  • Team-first approach who values collaborative success, celebrates wins collectively, and holds yourself and teammates to high standards
