About the Role
CBRE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to deliver essential technical support and preventive maintenance across our commercial properties. As part of our Engineering and Technical Services team, you'll ensure building systems and equipment operate at peak performance. Working directly with facility managers and engineering staff, you'll diagnose issues, implement repairs, and develop preventive care strategies that minimize downtime and extend asset life.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot system failures and equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Maintain detailed service records and maintenance documentation
- Respond to emergency repair requests and facility issues requiring immediate attention
- Conduct routine inspections of industrial systems and building equipment
- Coordinate with specialized contractors when required and manage vendor relationships
- Support facility safety standards and compliance with operational protocols
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician in commercial, industrial, or facility management environments
- Working knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Ability to diagnose problems, troubleshoot independently, and implement practical solutions
- Physical capability to perform maintenance work and operate in diverse facility conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and preventive maintenance practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
