Role Overview

As our Maintenance Technician (1st Shift), you'll be the backbone of our facility's day-to-day operations. Working the first shift, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and respond to maintenance requests to minimize downtime. This is a hands-on, full-time position where your technical skills and problem-solving abilities directly impact production efficiency and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to established schedules
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment failures
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs during first shift operations
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before they become critical problems
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize operational disruptions

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar equipment maintenance role
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
