Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization operating a state-of-the-art fulfillment center in the Berlin/Brandenburg area (Falkensee). As a Maintenance Engineer, you will take full ownership of material handling equipment during your shift, ensuring systems run at peak performance to support daily operations.

• Detect and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in automated intralogistics systems, working closely with operational supervisors
• Collaborate directly with equipment suppliers on complex technical issues requiring external support
• Analyze system failures to identify root causes, prevent recurrence, and implement structural improvements
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs to maximize system availability and uptime
• Coach and mentor junior maintenance colleagues to elevate overall team capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Ausbildung and/or Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or chemical engineering
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in technical maintenance or engineering roles
• Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measurement and camera systems
• Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and/or ICS/SCADA tools
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative team approach
• Independent working style with initiative and goal-oriented problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in English and/or German
