About This Position

We're hiring a skilled Machinist to operate and maintain machine tools in our Cordele manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll set up equipment, interpret technical blueprints, and produce precision metal parts that meet strict engineering specifications. You'll work with modern machinery including CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders to fabricate components used throughout the manufacturing and production industries.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC-controlled equipment to fabricate precision metal parts
• Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints to ensure accurate component production
• Set up and adjust machinery to meet precise specifications and tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy against engineering requirements
• Work safely and follow all established manufacturing protocols and safety procedures
